The Coast Guard issued Pan Pan broadcasts for an overdue 30-foot white Santana sailboat, Rio Vagato, last seen near San Clemente Island bound for Hawaii; a possible person in the water off Trestles Beach; and a vessel taking on water near Mariners Basin in Mission Bay. Together, the calls gave the week a heavy search-and-rescue tone, with mariners repeatedly asked to keep sharp lookouts, assist if possible, and report sightings.

Hail activity was slightly lower and overall traffic concentrated midweek, with pronounced Wednesday–Thursday spikes and a sharp drop in weekend activity versus the prior week.
